A New Look

I was visiting over at Suzi Riot's place and her blog's new look inspired me to do something new with mine. It's still pink - couldn't change it TOO much - but thought I'd go for a little cleaner, easier-to-read look. Hope you like it! I can always change it back if I decide I like the old format better. I figured since it's spring, this would be a good symbolic time for a change.

Haiku for the occasion:

At long last it's spring
The crocuses are blooming
The mockingbird sings.

The grass is greener
And the air is getting warm
I wear my flip flops.

Time for capri pants
'Tis the season for blogging
Sitting on the deck.

Your site looks good to me!

We had a little cold front come through Fla last night and another one comes through today. Kinda feels funny since it was 87 degrees yesterday and will just break 70 today. Birds are already gathering twigs and such for nest building and all our flowers are in bloom. We are sort of having spring-winter time.

I love the new look!

And the haiku is perfect.

Yay to the flip flops!

Wow, I'm so flattered that I inspired you! I liked the old look but I really like this new one too. Very pretty and simple.

I'm all about making changes with the seasons - especially this Spring after a very long, very cold, very gray winter.

Thanks, POP! Glad you are having nice weather down there. 70 sounds good to me! We're back down into the 50's but it's supposed to warm up again later this week.

DCup, glad you like the new look and haikus, thanks!

Fran, I really like your new header look for the "FranIAm" title. And I think you had changed your template once already, hadn't you? I was still using the same one I started with so I thought it was time to do something new!

Suzi, it just made me think, "Why not? Let's do something new!" Maybe I will change it every season, that might be fun. I may fiddle around with it even more, if I can figure out how to change fonts and stuff!

Hi! It is good that you decided to change the look of your site. I changed mine too for practically no reason at all, just hit me one night and I realized I am too tired to changed it back. Anyway having a new look can be inspiring! Just want to take this chance to thank you for your visits to my site.

34 degrees (F) here in the "Heart of Dixie". It's a Deep South emergency.

Please, please let the peaches go unharmed.

That Girl, thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you like the new look. I like your new look as well!

Nick, hope the peaches survived - I would sure miss having good peaches in the spring! Glad you liked the haiku!

Randal, great haiku yourself! Do you really prefer cold weather? Brrrr.

Christopher, glad you like it!
