I'm thinking bionic eyes with interchangeable parts. One with X-ray vision, telescopic, and lasers.
Excellent suggestions, Evil Spock. Makes me think of Geordie in Next Generation, but more Borglike! Let's incorporate them directly into the body!
My late maternal grandmother had macular degeneration (I so did NOT win the genetic lottery, LOL).

My genetic lottery is mixed. Most issues are on my dad's side but my mom's side has the AMD.
Macular degeneration. That's something old people get, right? Gimme that website.
