Views of Old Cape Cod

Now that we've gotten around to downloading our pictures from the Cape, I thought I'd share some of them with you!

Here is a view of the lake near the cottage.

Here is Diva enjoying her favorite thing of all - fetching her ball from the lake!

I love the National Seashore Beach on the Cape, but unfortunately the Cape is so commercialized now. Kuanyin tagged me as well but instead of doing the tag per say...I'm visiting the other tagged ones because Kuanyin has a habit of finding some way khool sites! (-:

Hi Tom, welcome! Glad you stopped, by, I'll check out your blog too!

The Cape is getting very commercialized but the East-ham-Welfleet-Truro area is still very unspoiled. Eastham is getting more strip malls lately but at least they're tasteful. The worst part is down by Centerville and Hyannis. During the summer I avoid the Cape completely - way too many tourists. We go up in the spring and fall before and after the influx!

Looks like a beautiful spot. I go to Provincetown and Truro on the Cape most summers.
