In Memory of Ted Kennedy - Rest in Peace

An era ended with his death, but as so many have already said, "the dream will never die."

As we remember Teddy Kennedy today, think of all the years he was with us, and all he did for this country, and take some time to mourn.

"To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep..."

Judy Collins and Pete Seeger, singing it together:

Yes, rest in peace Teddy, you did great things.

He will be missed and the words from Ecclesiastes in that song are just right.

Thanks for that, it was nice to listen to, to see.

Mr. Kennedy was a towering figure.

I always felt as if I could lean on him despite not knowing the man.

His legislative accomplishments will live on forever and I am eternally grateful to him.

Ted was a great statesman and father figure to the children of his brothers. This song is so very apt at this moment. thx.

They did a great job today and through the week honoring a hard working man no matter how you felt about him.

I was glad to see his story and remember so much about the Kennedy family and how they moved forward no matter what and stayed together though so much.

And Judy Collins well she is an Icon and I enjoyed hearing her again.

He wasn't a perfect man, but he was a great one. I don't know if there is anyone who can fill those shoes.

I never really cared for Ted Kennedy until a few years ago but now realizing what this man accomplished and who he stood up for, I am sad that he is gone. The liberal cause has lost it's strongest voice.

The Kennedy's, though rich, did their best to attend to justice. Who will take their place now that they are gone?
