We've Come a Long Way

A friend sent me this video and I thought it was worth posting here. It's fascinating to watch the faces of all of our past presidents morph from one to the other and finally culminate with our 44th President, Barack Obama.

We are finally down to the last day. As of noon tomorrow, Change will be here.

That was very strange. Fascinating but strange.

What a amazing video. It is surprising how many presidents we know so little about because they did nothing and then others that are so well known for what they did do - good or bad.

I, for one, am looking forward to tomorrow. The end of an 8 year error!

Happy Tuesday.

Hi all - today was amazing, wasn't it? I took some pictures at the gathering I was at, will try to download them tomorrow and post them.

Finally, he's President Obama instead of President-Elect! A new era has begun!

This was so cool. Thanks. Two things struck me as peculiar while watching the video:

1) How every President after Carter smiled for their portrait/photo.

2) How certain Presidents closely resembled famous actors:

Monroe - Sean Penn
Tyler - Adrien Brody
Polk - Mel Gibson
Wilson - David Straithern

I know. I have too much time on my hands. Heh.

Hmm, Spartacus, I didn't notice those resemblances, will have to go back and watch it again!

Actually I think for Pres. Obama's official portrait (the photograph that will hang in various schoolrooms around the country, he didn't smile. But I prefer this one!
