A 60-something Baby Boomer's views on politics, pets and life.
Got my purple on proudly.
Got mine on, too.
I don't have any purple but if I did I would wear it. I feel for those kids and think about it daily.
A great way to show your support.Did you see the clip of the Fort Worth, TX, councilman who "came out" in a meeting. Actually, what he did was speak publicly for the first tinme. He did so in response to the sad deaths of LGBT teens--telling them, things will get better.
I did wear purple yesterday! For this purpose! Those poor kids (and the families of those who have harmed themselves) need all the support they can get!
All my friends wore purple yesterday too, except one who's not really on the internet and didn't know about it! KGMom, no, I didn't hear about that - good for him!
I think is wonderful that people are finally aware of what has been going on with queer youth for years. I knew that if more people knew, more people like you would care and do something about it.
