Having an undiplomatic war monger like Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State is about as inappropriate as it gets.

JollyRoger: Illinois' Secretary of State has no legal basis to refuse to certify the appointment. It's part of the reason I can't blog about much in the way of politics these days. I'm just too tired of the games and the lying and the cheating and the greed. It sickens me, and there is lots of blame to go around.

I have become increasingly against the Israeli war machine. I see the Palestinians as the true victims here. They did not ask for their land to be taken from them, and it is understandable that they want it back. All harkens back to 1946 and the very arbitrary decisions tht were made by Britain. It's a mess that has not stopped. While I support Israel, some accomodation must be made to peoples who have every legitimate right to claim their homeland too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34240686.post-34051320648652991122009-01-06T12:50:00.000-05:002009-01-06T12:50:00.000-05:00What christopher said. I see it as a final act of vindictiveness from the Bush Administration. I agree that this latest conflict is more than an act of self-defense. It also says something that every country in the UN has condemned Israel for their response, except, of course, the US. I wonder what stance an Obama administration would have taken had he been tasked with condemning Israel or not. Bottom line, the killing of innocents has to stop.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34240686.post-10930799516312517572009-01-06T07:11:00.000-05:002009-01-06T07:11:00.000-05:00Props Mauigirl for having the courage to post abou...Props Mauigirl for having the courage to post about Israel's assault on the people of Gaza.

You risk being called an anti-Semite if you dare to speak harshly of America's 51st state.
